VolCon began with a simple but powerful belief: Volunteering deserves a space of its own.
A space not just to show up, but to learn, connect & shape the future of volunteering in India.
This vision first came alive when Bhumi and AID India joined hands to create a national platform dedicated entirely to volunteering. At a time when volunteer efforts were powerful but scattered, VolCon brought people together.
What began as an experiment soon became something much bigger.
As the movement grew, so did the collective leadership behind it. iVolunteer joined as a co-organiser, strengthening the vision of VolCon as a platform owned not by one organisation, but by the ecosystem itself.
Since 2020, Bhumiversal has produced VolCon, helping scale its ambition and impact. Bringing together global insights, cross-sector collaboration, and deeper conversations on the future of volunteering. But the real turning point came in 2024 when the community itself stepped forward.
Volunteers, nonprofit leaders, CSR professionals, and social impact practitioners didn’t just attend; they began to shape VolCon.
They curated conversations. They influenced themes. They defined what mattered.
VolCon became what it was always meant to be: a conference built by the movement, for the movement.
Today, VolCon stands as India’s flagship volunteering conference, where ideas spark action, partnerships are born, and volunteers discover their power to create change.

An initiative by Bhumi and iVolunteer, VolCon 2026 will bring leaders from corporate, nonprofits, intermediaries, youth networks and other stakeholders for 2 days of intense learning.
Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi, as a platform, enables over 94,000 volunteers across 12 cities in India for causes like education, environment, animals and community welfare.
iVolunteer is a social enterprise that promotes volunteering. Our Mission is to bring volunteers and organisations together to share time, skills and passion to promote India social development.

- The registration cost mentioned is for a single entry to the conference.
- The registration fee is non-refundable except in the case of point (4) below.
- Only 2 participants can register from an organization, whether an NGO, a corporate, a college, or a foundation.
- If more than 2 participants from the same organization register, the extra ticket(s) will be canceled, and the amount will be refunded.
- Nobody will be allowed admission to the conference without a valid ticket or pass.
