VolCon is India’s flagship conference around volunteering. Volcon has been facilitating the sharing of knowledge towards the mission of Every Indian Volunteering since 2014.

This year’s VolCon will be attended by nearly 200 leaders across corporates, intermediaries and non-profits that actively engage volunteers all across India. This is a great opportunity for selected volunteer managers/engagers to participate in 2-days of intense learning through 15+ workshops and panel discussions on a variety of volunteer management topics.

The learning/exposure from the event will not only equip you to upskill your own knowledge and capabilities, but also provide opportunities to your non-profit organization to grow its network, build new CSR relationships, and grow the impact of your volunteering programs.

In order to encourage new people to participate in VolCon, this scholarship will only be available to those individuals and organizations who have NOT attended VolCon previously.

Eligible candidates are invited to submit their application below. If you have a colleague in your organisation who is eligible, do ask them to apply!

1. No. of scholarships available: up to 20 at the discretion of the committee

2. Scholarship Inclusion:

   1. 2 Days Access to the Conference (March 5 & 6, 2025)

   2. Access to the Good Deeds Day Workshop (March 4, 2025)

   3. Shared Accommodation for Non-Bangalore Residents 

3. Scholarship Exclusion:

   1. Travel & Commutation Expenses from your Host City

   2. Meals other than the ones included in the conference (Tea/Coffee + Lunch + High Tea/Coffee)

   3. Any other personal overhead expenses

4. Process & Timeline:

   1. Applications Live: February 1, 2025

   2. Applications Close: February 17, 2025

   3. Screening of Applications: Rolling Basis (Feb 7-Feb 19)

   4. Selection Notification to Scholars: February 19, 2025

   5. Confirmation of Scholarship Acceptance: February 21, 2025

5. Eligibility Criteria: Who should apply?

   1. Individuals who have not attended VolCon before

   2. Individuals who have directly worked with at least 50 Vols in the past year for 150 hrs (Apr 2024 – March 2025)

   3. Individuals who have volunteered themselves for at least 100 hrs in the past year (Apr 2024 – March 2025)

   4. Individuals whose organisation’s annual budget is less than 50 Lakhs last year (Apr 2023 – March 2024)

   5. Individuals who are currently enrolled in a research program around volunteering
